“The work of any teacher should be to instill a spirit of experimentation and to break moulds and routines.” Juliana de Aguirrezabala, who inspired the creation of the Bizkaia Teachers’ College for Women, set up in 1912 in the Solokoetxe Hospital, in a speech to students and colleagues.

EGB (Basic General Education) is a line of investigation centred on the concept of self-education, understood as a process in which subjects actively shape their own learning processes. EGB will create a workspace through open and closed sessions. It will work as a study group which aims to produce knowledge through dialogue and the exchange of knowledge.
